Hi there! I am Hugo and I am a current master’s student at Stanford University interested in robotics and controls. I am excited about doing research and will be continuing my academic career by pursuing a PhD.
Current research interests:
- Performance guarantees for learned modules of autonomy stack

Jul 15, 2022 | I just returned from Belgium, as I joined the summer program on Gravity-Related Research organized by the European Space Agency (ESA). I was very pleased to be among one of the few selected, and could not be more satisfied with the experience. Do monitor upcoming programs organized by ESA, they have some super interesting events coming soon! |
Jun 23, 2022 | I graduated in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology with Summa Cum Laude! I am immensely grateful for all the opportunities that were provided to me in my incredible three years here, I could have simply not learned more in during my time here! Super excited to share that next, I will be joining the Aeronautics and Astronautics department at Stanford University. I cannot wait for my adventure to the US! |
Jun 2, 2022 | As part of my work at Reef Support, I got interviewed by the European Space Agency’s Space Business Innovation Centre, joined by my CEO and CTO. We discussed some of the details of a GIS tool I developed to aid policy-makers, locals and researchers in monitoring critical developments of coral reefs in areas of interest.
